Fall is drawing closer, and since there’s no real heating solution besides electrical in-floor heating, we’ll have to close the tower up for the winter soon. I really can’t wait to get the wood burner hooked up, but I will have to wait until the top floor has proper flooring – until then it will be impossible to complete the chimney work.
Anyway, I decided to take my 2 boys to the tower for a few days, to just hang out and to fix some minor things – no big project(s) this time, just this & that.
Although previously prototyped, I finally installed the Ukrainian metal brackets I found on Etsy, and oak shelves in the kitchen. These brackets come from an abandoned Ukraine factory, and I just love the looks of them. I manufactured the not-nearly-as-cool white brackets myself.
