Another milestone – kitchen cabinets being installed. I have planned the kitchen for a very long time – everything from water, sewage, electricity and appliances needed for the very limited kitchen space I have.
The cabinets are IKEA, the countertop is solid, thick oak. Since the inner dimensions of the tower are pretty skewed, it took quite some fiddling & fitting to get the cabinets straight. I still haven’t made a choice on color & material of doors, but I’m considering making them myself out of waxed Valchromat, and an IKEA drill guide for hinge fitting.
Kitchen will feature a small fridge with an even smaller freezer compartment, under-sink 55 L water heater, 2-zone hob, and oven. No dishwasher. This is countryside, baby 🙂
