2 squares mark the spot.

If compared to your general summer pad or cabin, the dimensions of this building are quite unusual. Offering just 16 m2 of floor space per floor, it boasts a vertical span of almost 12 meters. This offers ample space for a smaller, half-way level, described earlier in the blog. Today, I managed to nail down where the 4 support pillars that holds this level should be located.

The foot plates are 20×20 cm and so are the Moroccan tiles that will be used on the ground level. The plan is to seamlessly “tile” the tiles and the 4 foot plates of the platform. The slightly offset tile in the above image is just pulled out to leave room for the floor sensor cable feeding the bathroom thermostat with temperature data. Hopefully, it will all be neatly aligned when done.

The next move in the tower will be mudding. As this requires at least 5 degrees of above zero temperature, I will have to pace myself with other activities until spring arrives. Happy winter, y’all!
