Planning & prepping is the key to successful project execution. Hence, I have immaculately laser measured the inside of the tower to get its inner dimensions: As we will be lifting the stack of floor planks into the tower through the top of it, we need to make sure nothing catches the walls and that Peter Crane has enough room to maneuver the stack… while still making sure the planks cover as much of the floor area as possible.
The inner width of the tower is 3990 mm, so I’m making the planks 3940 mm. This will offer a generous 50 mm leeway as we gently position the plank stack into its final resting place on top of the massive, top floor metal beams.
