The platform is taking shape. By the grace of my friend Petter, we are rocking this one out in his warehouse featuring a traverse (an absolute necessity for this part of the project) merely a 15 minute drive from my house.
Another friend, “Macke”, a master welder and generally clever fella is helping me out setting this thing up in actual, IRL 3D space. I wanted to have a modular system that is conveyed properly, tested for size and structural integrity – but still subject to last minute adjustment if it turns out that measurements etc. are even the slightest off. The latter is in fact an issue I constantly face – the tower is located almost 2 hours from my house. In order for this to work, I need to plan and organize everything down to the slightest detail, and also keeping things open to on-site alterations.
The platform is just that. It can be set up and torn down in under 30 minutes, and can be adjusted in height / width within 10 mm increments.
